Community Outreach February - March
Over the past two months, Way To Go teams across the country have continued finding ways to give back to their communities. From supporting local shelters and nursing homes to helping students and community organizations, our teams have been proud to make a positive impact both on and off the job site.
Oklahoma Office Shares Valentine's Day Kindness
The Oklahoma office doubled up on kindness this Valentine’s Day. The team delivered donations to a local animal shelter, providing toys, blankets, and supplies for animals in their care. They also visited a nearby nursing home where they handed out Valentine’s Day cards and small gifts to residents to brighten their day.
Field Recruiters Visit Black History Quilt Exhibit
During Black History Month, our Chesapeake field recruiters visited the Chesapeake Central Library where hundreds of locally made quilts were on display from the African American Sewcial Threaders Quilt Guild. The exhibit showcased the artistry and cultural storytelling behind these handmade quilts and highlighted the creativity of local makers in the community.
Kenner Team Supports Local Students
In Kenner, employees partnered with Joey’s Hope to support local students in need. The team purchased and packaged 100 food bags that will be distributed to underprivileged children through a nearby school.
Missouri Team Stays Active in the Community
Robin and Tony from our Missouri office have been especially active in the community, performing music at a local gun show, helping distribute tickets at Brewfest, making donations to a local blessing box, and delivering a monetary donation to a local Boys & Girls Club.
From local shelters and libraries to schools and community organizations, our teams continue to find ways to make a positive impact wherever they go.
